How we handle your data
This explains what ZEBRA collects when you take the assessment, why, and who can see it. Last updated 12 September 2026 UTC.
What we collect
When you start an assessment, we collect your full name, work email, company name, industry, company size, and an optional phone number. As you answer the 32 capability questions, we store each response so we can calculate your ZEBRA Score, Business Stripe Profile, strengths, risks, and 90-day roadmap.
Why we collect it
Your contact details let us send you your results and, if you want it, connect you with a Zaplio advisor about the risks the assessment surfaces. Your answers are used only to generate your own report and, in aggregate with other completed assessments, to build industry benchmarks. We never turn your answers into a product pitch.
Who can see it
Your responses are stored in a Postgres database and are visible only to authenticated Zaplio administrators through a password-protected admin panel. There is no public listing or search of submitted assessments, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep completed assessments so you can revisit your results and so Zaplio can track readiness trends over time. If you would like your data corrected or deleted, contact us using the details below and we will action it within a reasonable time.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, consistent with applicable data protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. To make a request, email info@zaplio.io.
